Yacht Charters on the Costa Blanca
Sheltered coves under the Montgó at Dénia and Jávea, the great rock of the Peñón de Ifach at Calpe, and the shortest sail from mainland Spain to Ibiza. The "white coast" is the sunny, easy launch pad.
The Costa Blanca is Spain's sunniest, most sheltered mainland sailing — a warm, gentle coast around Alicante and Valencia where the water is calm, the season is long, and the coves sit under dramatic limestone headlands. Dénia and Jávea are the heart of it: pretty ports beneath the Montgó massif, ringed by the clear coves of the Cap de Sant Antoni and Cap de la Nau, with the toy-town rock of the Peñón de Ifach rising out of the sea at nearby Calpe.
Its trump card is position. Dénia is the shortest crossing from the Spanish mainland to Ibiza — a few hours' sail — which makes the Costa Blanca the natural launch pad for a Balearics trip, or a relaxed cruising ground in its own right when you want sun and calm water without a flight to the islands. Warm, easy and under-sailed, it's the quiet side of the Spanish Mediterranean.

For the costa blanca.
Where do Costa Blanca charters start?
Dénia and Jávea are the main bases, with Alicante and Valencia to the south and north. Alicante (ALC) and Valencia (VLC) airports both serve the coast; Dénia is roughly halfway between them.
Can we sail to Ibiza from here?
Yes — Dénia is the shortest mainland-to-Ibiza crossing, a few hours' sail, so many charters use the Costa Blanca as a launch pad for the Balearics. Ask for a combined mainland-plus-islands itinerary.
When is the best season?
One of the longest in Spain — May to October is reliably warm and calm, and the shoulder months are gentler here than on the windier Costa Brava. High summer is busy around Calpe and Jávea but the coast rarely feels crowded on the water.
Is it good for a first charter?
Yes — sheltered water, short hops, a long calm season and warm sea make the Costa Blanca an easy, forgiving ground, whether as a base in itself or the first leg of an Ibiza trip.
